Bathing tips at Shirahama-Spa

  1. Rest for more than 30 minutes before bathing.
  2. Throw/pour hot water onto your body before slowly immersing yourself up to your shoulders.
  3. After warming up, slowly move your hands and legs in the hot water.
(Do not soak too long or move to such an extent that you are out of breath)
  4. Do not take a long shower after getting out of the bath. *Rest for more than 60 minutes.

After the bath, spring constituents on your skin are absorbed into the body and do their work. To gain their full benefits, do not take a long shower.

Towels, bath towels and plastic bags are available at large communal baths.

*Although secure lockers are available in the changing room, it is advisable to deposit your valuables with the front desk.
